Vicky Wilkens and the Emergence of Marovi

If you’ve ever had the privilege of knowing Vicky Wilkens, you already know she’s not someone who accepts the status quo. She listens deeply, leads with intention, and moves with a clarity that inspires confidence. So it’s no surprise that when she saw major gaps in the world of executive hiring, she didn’t just work around them — she built something better.

Recently, Vicky co-launched (with executive search expert Matt Mooney and technology executive, Jin Ro) a new company called Marovi, and those of us in the Women’s Purpose Community couldn’t be more proud. This isn’t just another startup. It’s the kind of bold, thoughtful innovation that comes from years of experience, and a deep commitment to doing things differently.

The Problem She Couldn't Ignore

After decades in executive search, placing thousands of C-level and board leaders, Vicky and her co-founders saw a painful truth: companies were spending too much time and money trying to find the right leaders, and still missing the mark.

The software that promised to help often made things worse. Most platforms reduced a candidate’s rich leadership journey into a few keyword-matched bullet points. Nuance was lost. Fit was unclear. And hiring teams were left with long lists but little clarity.

It wasn’t just inefficient, it was out of sync with the kind of leadership today’s world really needs.

So They Built Marovi

Marovi is Vicky’s answer to that frustration. It’s a new kind of executive selection company that blends human capital software with executive hiring expertise. Their platform maps the executive market in real-time and delivers pre-assessed, validated candidates based on each company’s specific criteria. The result? A faster, clearer, and more thoughtful process, one that honors the depth of a leader’s experience rather than flattening it.

Marovi is built to eliminate the drag of traditional executive search — and shift the focus to where it matters: intelligent, confident selection.” shared by Vicky.

Built on Purpose

What makes this even more powerful is how Vicky built it; not just from her head, but from her heart. As a founding member of the Women’s Purpose Community, Vicky has always been committed to inner alignment. She’s done the work to reconnect to what matters most, and it shows in everything she creates.

This isn’t just about reinventing an industry. It’s about helping companies find the kinds of leaders who can actually move the needle, the ones who are aligned, values driven, and ready to lead with impact.

And it’s about showing women, especially those at a crossroads, what it looks like to create from a place of purpose, not pressure.

What’s Next

Marovi is currently inviting a group of companies into their beta program to test and shape the platform. It’s a unique opportunity for forward-thinking teams to help build something that could redefine how leadership hiring is done, not just faster, but more intelligently.

And for those of us watching from the WPC circle, it’s something else too: a reminder of what’s possible when women trust themselves enough to lead differently.

Vicky, we see you. We celebrate your vision. And we’re grateful to walk alongside you.
